The course “Work Safety and Ergonomics (M:32013W0)” is a theoretical course covering fundamental issues related to occupational health and safety as well as ergonomics in technical environments, with particular emphasis on the transport sector.
The course includes legal and organizational aspects of occupational safety, classification and characteristics of workplace hazards, methods of risk assessment, and principles of organizing a safe working environment. It also addresses core ergonomic principles, including the adaptation of workplaces to human psychophysical capabilities and the impact of environmental factors on safety and work efficiency.
The aim of the course is to provide structured theoretical knowledge and to develop awareness of safe behavior and responsibility in the workplace.
