The course consists of fifteen threehour-long classes in which students work on specific tasks. The aim is to develop basic skills related to preparing a local spatial development plan (miejscowy plan zagospodarowania przestrzennego - MPZP) and conducting the planning procedures required for this type of spatial planning act.
Because students should focus on preparing the local spatial development plan itself, they cannot simultaneously design a new development concept that would serve as the formal content of the plan. Instead, they will use their own spatial development project created in the course Architectural and Urban Design I during the previous semester as the basis, introducing only the legally required modifications.
As the final outcome of the semester, students must submit a draft resolution adopting the local spatial development plan, together with the required graphic attachments and selected planning materials.
