The Lending and Main Reading Room are in the Main Building of Gdańsk Tech Library and are open:

▪ Monday–Friday: 9:00–19:00
▪ Saturday: 9:00–15:00

In the Lending Room you can:

  • borrow books available in the Library Hall (open shelves)
  • pick up books ordered from the Storage via the online catalog
  • return books to librarians or by yourself – using self-check or the return slot
  • pay fines for late returns (card payment only)
  • bring a book to replace a damaged or destroyed one
  • use the InfoTerminals in the Hall – check the catalog and place orders
  • scan materials on the self-service scanner
  • study in an acoustic cabins

In the Main Reading Room you can:

  • use books on site
  • use scientific, professional, and popular science journals on-site
  • study in an acoustic cabins
  • relax in comfortable acoustic chairs
  • use a computer (Internet, databases, standards, including a special workstation for people with disabilities)

The collection in the Main Reading Room and Library Hall is organized by subject and color-coded, which helps you find materials quickly.
