Enrolment options

The main task of the course is to familiarise students with contemporary rules for the conservation of architectural monuments and their implementation. The first part of the course focuses on the development of conservation theories in Europe from the present day to the present day. The other part of the course covers fundamental technical issues and techniques for conservation activities undertaken in the context of work on architectural monuments. The problems are illustrated in class through many case studies from Western Europe and Poland.
