The changes are present in our reality at every step. This year is a great example. However, we rarely decide to change ourselves. Stabilization gives people a sense of feeling safe, makes their life easier. Changes at work requires them to came out of their comfort zone, so they don't like it.
To make changes easier they should be taken in a small steps. People need to get used to new situation, they need time to adapt to changes in the workplace, which will be easier for them if they will have a chance to get used to many smaller changes at a slower pace than making large overnight changes. So in my opinion giving people time for changes is the best option.
