All changes are hard for its their recipients.  receivers. People are used to the way they act, to the common rules, which they apply to. obey. Any slight change in their schedule makes them feel weak. They have no sense of security, which makes them vulnerable, mostly by not knowing what is going to happen. All of them just search for stability and happiness. It doesn’t matter whether it is at home or at work. Due to their needs, they’ll fight and resist changes by showing their negative attitude or denying cooperation. However, the key is communication. People have to know and, what is more important, understand every step of the proposed/necessary change. There is no need for long meetings and tiring talks, but it has to be direct. Also, many of them might want just to talk about their feelings and insecurities and they have to has have the possibility of doing this. Even if the communication is at the highest level, few of the staff might rebel on principle. My mom once said that the best resolution is to engage them the most, give them many responsibilities, which would make them important, and they will cooperate.
