I believe that digitalization really helped me but I think we should not forget that moderation is always required. Besides the obvious things like access to Christmas songs and recipes I could spend the holidays (even in times of covid) as usual. For example this year thanks to apps like Whatsapp and skype I could celebrate Christmas with my family members without putting them into any danger. We could see each other, eat and open the presents together. I’m very grateful for that.
However, as I mentioned before, it is crucial to know the limits. For instance my younger cousin didn’t want to join us on Christmas eve nor talk with other family members – he preferred playing games with his friends rather than spend this time with us.
