Despite such a large digitization of the world, we spend Christmas in my family in a very traditional way. Every year we all meet together, despite the fact that my closest family consists of nearly 20 people. There are 12 dishes on the table, an empty place for an unexpected guest and a mountain of presents under the Christmas tree for the youngest family members. After Christmas Eve we usually play board games and chat.
It is true that some traditions, such as singing Christmas carols, are slowly disappearing in our home, and on the other days of holidays, smartphones, computers and TV sets rule, but I think that looking at the time in which we live, holidays in my family still have a lot of charm and beauty.
