 Kurs przeznaczony jest dla studentów 4 semestru studiów inżynierskich na kierunku Architektura

The topics of the classes include issues related to the analysis of conditions resulting from the location, the functional and spatial program and the provisions of the Local Development Plan, technical conditions and construction law.

The design covers: plot development, form and function of the building (including an underground garage, if the function and provisions of the local development plan), basic construction and installation system and material and colour solutions.

The design task is to develop an architectural concept of a facility with a selected function in connection with the public (local) space in which the everyday life of the inhabitants of the selected design area of ​​the district Siedlce in Gdańsk.

The elective project I class is dedicated to daylight analysis within the built environment.

Kurs na potrzeby prowadzenia przedmiotu "projektowanie urbanistyczne III" dla sem. V architektury i "projektowanie urbanistyczne II" dla sem. III gospodarki przestrzennej w celu realizacji programu nauczania i przeprowadzenia konkursu na projekt przestrzeni publicznych Gdańsk 2030.

Detailed understanding of optimizing the design process using parametric BIM (Building Information Modeling) in the Autodesk Revit Architecture program. Practical design exercises included familiarize students with methods of integrating parametric design and exchanging data with other CAD/BIM programs, modifying parametric objects and generating automatic 2D/3D architectural documentation. The lesson plan introduces students to the typical design workflow of creating a full BIM model and related architectural documentation. The teaching topics include: learning the functions and advanced techniques of creating databases of BIM buildings, working with parametric objects and plug-ins, automatic generation of architectural elements based on study models (Form, Mass Study), learning tools for generating organic facades and multi-level parametric objects. Additionally, during classes, students learn techniques for creating presentation of architectural design, and publishing it in digital format.

The course aim is to demonstrate the application of Computer Aided Design in preparation of architectural drawings and project presentations. No previous CAD experience is necessary. Using hands-on exercises, students explore how to create project presentations using 2D drawings and 3D models created in AutoDesk AutoCAD and other programs.

The programme will provide students with a solid grounding in BIM (Building Information Modelling) using Autodesks Revit Architecture. Students will review the advanced features of Revit for Architecture, a tool to support BIM (Building Information Modelling) and delivery of 3D digital models and related documentation. The lesson plans will specifically introduce students to common workflows and problem-solving skills while creating a full 3D model and associated construction documents.
