Soft skills

Area I - didactic skills

"Didactic methods in the modern teaching process" (Technics of distant teaching)

The course aims at developing the highest standards of didactic skills in the modern teaching process - the opportunity to acquire knowledge on different kinds of didactic methods in particular interactive ones, and abilities to adjust teaching methods to the expected learning outcomes, to plan an e-test and a standard exam, ability to create a presentation about an issue in an effective way, etc.

Discipline: all disciplines
Obligatory course for the 2nd-year PhD students

Academic teacher: Damian Kuźniewski, Agnieszka Krawczyk-Kłos, Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer at GUT

Total hours of training: 5 teaching hours

Course type: lecture

Soft skills

Area II - researcher's workshop

"Commercialization of scientific outcomes"

Participants can get acquainted with commercialization scenarios at GUT (licensing, spin-off companies, commissioned research) and with case studies in the field of technology transfer at GUT. There will be an opportunity to analyze their own research through commercialization perspective, e.g. by using the Lean Canvas method as a way to quickly verify the market potential of research work.
