Due April, 3rd 2020, 15.00 CET - Heuristics and biases - task 2
As stated in the description of this topic, in their classical paper on heuristics Kahneman and Tversky described three different ones. From then on, the list of heuristics grew longer. In this simple task I would like you to focus on these three initial ones:
- representativeness heuristic
- availability heuristic
- anchoring and adjustment heuristic
As they can be a good example of the way in which heuristics are used in general in the decision making process, I would like you to learn about them and understand them well.
Your task is therefore to read about them either in the proposed article (see the link in the topic description) or using other sources (plenty is available online) and to submit real-life, concrete real-life examples of each of them (your submission will include three examples in total).
Your own examples (developed by you) are preferred over those that can be easily found online.
If you need any help from me, please do not hesitate to let me know.
