Due Thursday, 9th April, 17.00 CET - Task 3 - Rational decisions

Completion requirements
Opened: Friday, 3.04.2020, 00:00
Due: Thursday, 9.04.2020, 17:00

Your next task is a little bit more demanding than the previous one. It will require you to read the scientific paper mentioned in this section.  It is a classic article written by Richard P. Larrick, James N. Morgan, and Richard E. Nisbett and undertaking the topic of improving human decision making.

You can find it online under this link:

https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/handle/2027.42/92169/TeachingTheUseOfCostBenefit.pdf?sequence=1

You will need to answer several questions which are included in the MS Word file attached to this task. Normally, you would see this questions displayed in the classroom and would have to answer them individually before the plenary discussion about the article.

Now your task is, I believe, a bit easier than that. I know that you may not be used to reading scientific articles and therefore encourage you to contact me if you need any help or have any questions.

As this task is more demanding than two previous ones, it is of twice their value.

To sum up - please:

- read the article

- provide your answers to questions stated in the MS Office file

- submit a file with your answers before the deadline

- contact me if you need any assistance
