Reluctance to change is inherent in human DNA, everyone prefers to stick to the current situation, in this case, the style of their work. Probably most of the employees have their specific techniques and have got used to the current functioning of the company.
Entering their comfort zone may cause them their resistance and closure to changes.
In my opinion, the best way to make such changes is:
- firstly, informing all the employees about this fact,
- sharing with them the details of these changes,
- discussing them together and presenting a sensible plan to implement these changes.
I think these three steps will help employees to come to terms with the upcoming changes and prevent unforeseen problems related.
