It is nothing new that people do not like changes and they are trying to avoid them whenever they can. This problem is particulary visible in workplaces. People accustomed to certain working conditions, perform it their tasks efficiently and stress-free because they are used to it. They have a hard time understanding that many changes can lead to solutions that are beneficial for them. However, you need to take the time to change your habits at first.

In my opinion, the key to a smooth acceptance of change is organising a meeting with employees. It must be well thought out. This meeting should present a specific date of introducing the changes and also present a detailed implementation plan for the changes so that employees can metally prepare themselves. It is also worth convincing them that we are aware of their mixed feelings and reassure them that the changes will be good for them.
