In my opinion staff is are often resistant to the change as it brings the unknown and it’s simply scarry scary for them. Change in the company means for the employees that they will probably have to work harder, study new things and change their habbits, which is the worst, especially for older ones.
To overcome this aversion, managers have to convince their workers that the implementation of changes is the only way to evolve and achieve progress. During this process, which have has to be implemented gradually, they should be helpful and understanding to reduce the volume of stress connected with the new situation.
