In my opinion, employees can be resistant to suggested changes because they don't want to leave their comfort zone. With each change there is a lot of learning, many new responsibilities and new fears.
Staff resistance can be overcome by implementing these changes over a long period of time and by providing appropriate training to help them learn about the topic. Once you know your enemy, you can defeat them much easier.
Another way to overcome resistance is to be properly motivated. Employees who adapt best to changes may receive various bonuses such as extra money or a company sponsored trip for several days during the working days.
