Distance learning

When my University announced that we are going to do e-learning from now on I must admit I was quite excited. Firstly it was something fresh and new for me. I’ve never tried e-learning on such a huge level. However as time passed I realized that my skills began to fade away. I started feeling like I was not connected to the studies myself. Distance education sounds good at first but later you realise that attending lectures on yourself live is a different experience which makes you more engaged into the topic of the studies. So in my opinion it’s a good solution for a short term period. The biggest turndown for me was the lack of experience of some of the lecturers and the system itself. Me and my friends had difficulities in sending tests and tasks through the University online platform. Most of all I lack the human face to face interaction between students and teachers. I hope the quarantine ends soon and we can go back to the normal course of education.
