In my opinion, it is difficult to objectively say whether e-learning is a good way of teaching or not. This is a very subjective assessment and depends on the character, personality and preferences of the student. Many people cannot mobilize themselves to leave home and go to univeristies, and on the other hand, others are not able to focus enough on online learning. They get distracted too quickly, which is easy at home.
Personally, it is difficult for me to clearly assess which form of learning is better, each one has its pros and cons. Last semester showed that online lectures are a good form of classes. They do not differ from lectures at uni, and do not require leaving home, which can be time-consuming and requires getting up early. The downside is laboratory and practice other practical classes. Some of them are very limited in comparison to stationary classes. Consultation with the teacher is also limited. Due to the nature of distance learning, it is difficult to gain a satisfactory amount of practical knowledge from such activities.
