Headhunting might be unethical. However, many sides aspects of the business activity are is questionable. Due to many violations, nobody seems to care about being ethical and moral. When everybody experiences unethical situations every day it becomes normal. So people outside the business environment cannot judge what it is like. On the other hand, headhunting is a natural way of using connections to get a better job. Also, it rewards people who are engaged in their work and stand out with their personality, because that kind of such people/people of this kind are easily noticed among the crowd. Probably business is not for all and headhunting helps to choose the best ones.
