I don’t think that communicating online has changed how people see and celebrate Christmas. Christmas trees are still being decorated, Christmas pastries are being made. People share those things on social media. When it comes to Christmas Eve, most people put aside their smartphones.
Apart from the fact that we put more things online, which is additional, many people spend Holidays in the family circle, not online. Even when there is pandemic, and there are limiting the number of people, we spend Christmas with only a few close people. I hope that it will change in the next few months, so we will celebrate holidays with the whole family.
