Headhunting may seem like a controversial topic, however I personally do not see it as unethical. I believe the whole process to be rather beneficial for a vast majority of employees. Nowadays people switch between jobs regularly in order to lead a more satisfying life. Headhunting may enable talented individuals to get a more rewarding job, both financially and in terms of working conditions. It is also beneficial for companies – acquiring more skilled and effective workers means more money and time saved, as well as potentially long-term development in any business field. On the other hand, however, we have firms loosing good employees. It may seem like a great downside, but it might also be considered as a lesson on what to improve in the future, in order to keep the best staff on board.
